We are looking for persons to join our itelbpo Smart Solutions Family at our New Kingston location as Trainer!

The Trainer is a content expert that continually develops methods to help CSRs achieve specific learning outcomes. The trainer incorporates implements and analyzes the results of training needs assessments in order to improve CSR's potential.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate interactive classroom training by presenting job-specific, company-specific, and generic programs
  • Prepare staff to sell and explain products/services
  • Assist with creating and updating of courses and administering examinations within the Company
  • Design and expand training and development programs based on both the organization's and the individual's needs
  • Identify training and development needs within the Company through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with Operations and human resources department
  • Monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with Operations
  • Report on the progress of assigned projects to the Head of Training and Operations
  • Provide timely feedback to the necessary departments regarding training results
  • Have an understanding of e-learning techniques, and where relevant, being involved in the creation and/or delivery of e-learning packages
  • Ensure that statutory training requirements are met

FUNdamental Skills,  Experience and Qualifications Required

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role with at least 2 years experience in Training & Quality within a call center environment
  • Tertiary Education ( Bachelor's Degree Preferred) with majors in Psychology, Communications or Education
  • Customer sales and service training experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-development skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Solid presentation experience using flexible delivery methods is preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ACD reports (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)
  • Must be 18 years and older
  • Must possess a valid Jamaican ID (Passport, National ID or Driver's License)
